   Our driver meets you at Kochi airport (COK) for the drive to Munnar (about 4 hours), stopping at the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check in among the tea gardens at 5,000 ft.

   Day 2 · MunnarMunnar sightseeing

   Visit Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri tahr (closed Feb–Mar for calving), the Tata Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, and Kundala Lake for a pedal boat ride. Evening at the Munnar spice market.

   Drive to Thekkady (about 3 hours) through cardamom hills. Take a guided spice plantation walk, then an evening show of Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu martial art.

   Day 4 · AlleppeyPeriyar boat safari → Alleppey

   Early morning boat ride on Periyar Lake inside the tiger reserve — look out for elephants, bison and birds on the shore. Then drive to Alleppey (about 4 hours), the "Venice of the East", and relax by the backwaters.

   A day cruise through Alleppey's backwaters on a traditional kettuvallam houseboat, past paddy fields, village churches and coconut groves, with a Kerala lunch on board. Evening at Alleppey beach and lighthouse.

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out (standard check-out is 11 am; luggage can be stored if your flight is later). If time allows, stop at Fort Kochi for the Chinese fishing nets. Transfer to Kochi airport (COK), about 2 hours away in time for your onward flight, about 3 hours before international and 2 hours before domestic departures.
