   Day 1 · ShimlaArrive at Chandigarh → Shimla

   Our driver meets you at Chandigarh airport or railway station for the drive up to Shimla (about 4 hours through the Shivalik hills). Check in and, in the evening, walk up to the Ridge and Mall Road, lined with colonial buildings and Christ Church.

   Day 2 · ShimlaShimla & Kufri

   Morning excursion to Kufri (about 16 km) for pony rides, the Himalayan Nature Park and views of snow peaks in winter. Visit the Jakhu Temple on Shimla's highest hill, then the Viceregal Lodge (Indian Institute of Advanced Study). Evening at Lakkar Bazaar for wooden crafts.

   Day 3 · ManaliShimla → Manali

   Check out for the long scenic drive to Manali (about 8 hours), through Bilaspur, past the Pandoh dam on the Beas river and through the Kullu valley, with a stop at a shawl factory. Arrive in Manali in the evening.

   Day 4 · ManaliManali local sightseeing

   Visit the Hadimba Devi temple in its cedar forest, the Vashisht hot springs, Manu temple and the Tibetan monastery. Afternoon at leisure in Old Manali's cafés by the river, and evening on Mall Road.

   Day 5 · ManaliSolang Valley & Atal Tunnel

   Drive to Solang Valley for paragliding, zorbing or skiing in winter (activities paid locally), then through the Atal Tunnel — at 9 km, the world's longest highway tunnel above 10,000 ft — to Sissu in the Lahaul valley for snow and waterfalls. Rohtang Pass can be visited instead when open, subject to permits.

   Day 6 · ManaliNaggar & Kullu

   A gentle day: visit Naggar Castle and the Nicholas Roerich art gallery, then continue to Kullu for river rafting on the Beas (seasonal, paid locally) and shopping for Kullu shawls.

   Breakfast and check out. Transfer to Bhuntar (Kullu) airport, about 1.5 hours away, or drive back to Chandigarh (about 8–9 hours) for your onward journey.
